Hi all,

My name is Umair Tariq. Originally from Lahore, Pakistan, currently in Dubai, and have lived in London as well.

So having left banking after more than a decade and putting my thoughts back into other endeavours, I realized that I’ve left my love for writing very far behind and have only been using it for business purposes. Like an under-used muscle, it will take time to get back to peak fitness, but as I’m learning more and more these days, its about going out and doing things that really makes a difference or any advancement in life.

There is no plan to this blog… It can be random ramblings… thoughts, poetry, restaurant reviews, opinions about news stories etc. What is imperative is that I start writing. Perhaps someone might like it, some might agree with my thoughts, some might find them insightful and some will disregard this as another internet blog, however this blog is for me as any endeavor should be at the start, and we shall see where the first step on the road takes us.
